The Zachary Lane Chess Team competed this weekend in the 2 day School Chess Association State Tournament. It is the largest tournament of the year with over 300 total players, 190 in the primary group (K- 3) and 32 teams all competing for team and individual standings. The boys team took home 8th place, a great accomplishment against the best in the state.
