Yesterday the boys competed in the first Chess Tournament of 2011 with over 200 kids in attendance representing the age groups k-12. For Tanner it was his first, and he closed out the day with a third place in the kindergarten age group!
Jayden achieved his first official 10 Point Merritt Award recognition (Win =1 point Draw=.5 Builds across all sanctioned events- it took him all last year) Jayden received a bronze medal for his achievement!
All and all a great day and I am very proud of my boys for their accomplishments.
