The boys competed in the SCA Statewide Elementary Chess Tournament this weekend. This tournament is special as it is two days (7 rounds), one of the largest in the state and one of the only ones that the school gets a full team together to compete. This year they came home with a hard fought 8th place overall, Jayden had one of his best showings contributing 4 points and Tanner 2.5 (very good for a kindergartner in a K-3 Grouping).
